In this course, learners will:

- Learn about legislative and policy-making departments and organizations such as the NHS, DH, NICE, HSE, and their role in influencing health and social care delivery.
- Understand key legislation, including the Equality Act 2010, the Care Act 2014, and the Mental Health Act 2007.
- Examine NICE guidance on Care Pathways and Care Plans, and HSE guidance on risk assessments.
- Explore how these national guidelines are implemented within individual organizations.
